Author Interview with Dakota Madison

I’m interviewing contemporary romance author Dakota Madison on my blog today. Welcome, Dakota!

1)      I see you already have several books published. Which book was your favorite to write?

My favorite book was Fire on Ice. I enjoyed writing about a hot hockey player. Kian is rough around the edges. It’s fun to write about a guy who’s so tough but shows his softer side to the woman he loves.
2)      How long did it take you to write Community Service?

It took me one month to write the book. It was the final book I wrote during my 12 novels in 12 months challenge.
3)      Is this book part of a series?

Community Service was not written as part of a series but readers have asked me to write a sequel!
4)      Why do you write contemporary romance?

I like to read contemporary romance so I write the stories I most want to read.
5)      What are you working on at the moment?

I’m writing the second book in a four-book series about four sexy brothers and their local country band. I released the first book, WILDE RIDERS, last month (writing under the pen name Savannah Young). The second book will be released in April.
I like to call WILDE RIDERS (and the rest of the OLD TOWN COUNTRY ROMANCE series, HickLit. If you like your trucks loud, your beer cold and your men hot, you’ll love WILDE RIDERS.

Well, Wilde Riders certainly sounds like the kind of series I’d enjoy then!

Community Service

Community Service FrontTitle: Community Service

Author: Dakota Madison

Genre: Contemporary Romance

As Maggie Mitchell enters her final semester of college, the last thing she wants is a guy in her life, let alone two of them.

Her new lab partner, Sawyer Reed, is still the overconfident and sexy jock that made fun of her in high school. The only thing that has changed is that he now uses a wheelchair, the result of a skiing accident.

Jude Marino is a hot actor who all the girls want and would do anything to get. He works at a local theater where Maggie has been assigned to complete community services hours after rear-ending a police car.

Both Sawyer and Jude want Maggie but only one of them will be able to capture her heart.
