The Old Gods have risen and moved on, leaving Earth in ruins.

Leon liked that just fine.

He got along better after the collapse of society, and has his own vision for how things should be run: with him in charge of his own fate, with many lovers beneath him.

Yet when he has a run-in with a beautiful and mysterious woman, his life will never be the same.

What a hot erotic romance this book is! I went in not expecting much romance at all, or if some, then definitely not the hot erotic kind. But this book definitely doesn’t dissapoint. It offers well-rounded characters, a post-apocalyptic setting and a writing style that isn’t overly flowery but does get the point across.

Leon is a strong, alpha male character. He wants to be surrounded by beautiful women, and his needs are very much downsized to one’s primal needs: sex, food, drink. In the post-apocalyptic world, he isn’t the only one thinking this way, and it definitely works for him. He meets several women, promises to provide for them, and they accept his offer and proceed to have blazing hot sex with him.

The erotic scenes were well written, although the male POV definitely dominated. Not that Leon didn’t want to give his women pleasure; it just felt like he really saw things only from his alpha male position. I wouldn’t have minded a POV switch now and then to the women’s POV.

All in all, spectacular erotic romance, with awesome love-making scenes and an interesting setting.
